No offense to the advertisers on this site. But you gotta be kidding me. $88 for a fluorescent light bulb and battery you stick in the water to attract fish. Too funny.

SHhhhh it's a secret.

Bet it would work great in the vineyard sound for squid.

Thats a great tool for offshore fishermen when chunking at night. It helps attract squid to the boat so you one can try and catch a nice swordie. I have used them in the past and they work great and are an invaluable tool if you are gonna try and catch your own bait.

Go to any pier at night that's lit and get the same effect for free. :)

What piers are there at Atlantis Canyon?? Despite what you think this is a productive device if you get the chance to do some offshore stuff you will see.

They certainly don't help for catching fish. You shouldn't get one. They are a waste of money.

We use them down here and they work great! We have a green filter on 'em.........the green light seems to work better.

88 bucks?..........theft. The goobers down here are paying upwards to $150 for the 4 footers, without the battery.. I made mine from the parts ya get at the HomeDepot/Builders Supply joints.

BTW, they work best in the dark.

They are useful for catching lobsters at night around mangroves though. And then you get the lobsters for free - not hard to catch $88 worth of lobsters!
