MC- Coiba has soome great beaches that work well for flies, mostly smaller roosters, cuberas and some killer jacks. Around the rocks which make up most of the island you will find the trevally awesome looking & powerful. I found that smaller flies seem to work better on the trevally (clousers in chart/white, and red/white) even though they will crush a 9" popper on spin !!
I would al;so have some poppers (flies) crease flies work great or just foam poppers, as big as you can throw a good distance. You will find yellowfin tuna inshore (within a few hundred yards)around coiba as well. Poppers kill them (crease flies). Also some snook to be had early mornings...have done well with small white deceivers... Have fun it's just awesome. --125-3
