May run out tomorrow. Heard that the head boats from AH did not do good. Anyone have a similar or better report? Weather looks good.
Thanks,
Tommy

I ran east from jones to fire island and back .. and then west to debs. Highest temp I had was 47 and the lowest was 42. I saw some fish splashing in jones inlet (like two of them) but i think they were herring being chased by commorants. No birds and I didn't mark anything. And I agree there were a few spots where the water was pretty dirty.

Sunday Started Out COLD Water Temp in the harbor 38 degrees to cold for Stripers
NOT if you Fishing w/ Lov-2-Fish.
We left the marine about 8:00am & were into to fish by 8:10 am Air & Water temps cold but sea conditions perfect.
No Wind & Dead Calm Sea. Had a pretty steady pick of schoolies all day & a few min blitzs to make things interesting. Fish ranged from small 10-12 inches to 22" monsters but we caught approx 75 -80 fish not bad for slow day w/ Cold & muddy water.
Water temp by mid afternoon climbed to just about 42 degrees (41.8) Sea Calm all day but water was muddy 2-3 ft visibility at best.
Look like the season may over but we had a great last day :)
