Fished Sunday 12/18/05 with Mike P. A/K/A "Itsmoderating" > We fished on my boat, showed him the NY Harbor action. We landed 81 stripers and dropped a lot more. --127-3- Considering the Harbor water temps were 38 -- to a whopping high of 42 degrees we did pretty good. These fish were all small, tried for bigger ones, when that didn't produce, we jigged the schoolies. Mike's a good fisherman who caught on fast. Weather ( besides the cold, was picture perfect, almost no wind at all ). Here's some pictures from our adventure. Mike with a little schoolie, with Robbins Reef Light in backround. Mike with fish on, rod bending. And me with a schoolie ( picture of fish cut off, thank god he fishes better than he uses my camera! :brow ) Tight Lines to all! With water temps dropping so fast, it looks like the FAT LADY is starting to sing!
