Apparently, sometimes fish really do jump into the boat. What was up with that music, though...sounded like the sound-track from Top Gun.

We definintely need someone who speaks Portugeuse to translate that. Although he's probably just saying, "Can you believe this? The crazy fish are jumping right in my boat!"

Do you think if i played that music and got a big spotlight, I could get bluefish to jump in the boat like that?

I've read about this happening in South Florida, but didn't know if it was actually true. In the article I read they were catching mullet for bait by shining a light into the water and for some unknown reason the fish jump toward the light. Thanks for the great video!

this has happend to me before with freshwater mullet, i live in louisiana, and i was in one of the swamps around lake marpaus... i went through a really narrow canal in a go devil boat, the water was like a foot deep, and there were thousands of mullets feeding on the alge ontop of the water. well we ran threw the canal kinda fast, and stirred up all the mud from the bottom, the mullet started jumping outta the water like crazy, there was literally thousands of mullets all jumping out of the water at the same time, i dunno if they were tryin to get out of the water cause we stired it all up, or if they were just jumping cause they were spooked and they couldnt go down, cause the water was too shallow, we ended up with like 45 mullets in the boat, it was crazy, we were gettin hit in the head by them left and right....o and this was day time, like in the afternoon...
