Hello everyone. Thanks to all who responded to my previous post on the requirements for a non residence sport fishing licence in Cuba. I'm sure we all agreed that the facts should be clear before even taking the rod out of the tube. Many contacts I have were all in question if one was needed or not. I contacted the Cuban Canadian Embassy and received the following response.
"QUOTE",
You do not require any special licenses or permits to fish in Cuba.
Tourists can fish pretty much anywhere, the only exception would be a
breeding lake. You can fish from any shore, if you are planning on
renting a boat and going out, the marina will have all the necessary
paperwork for you.
