Use acohol, it thins the epoxy slightly and it also gets rid of any air bubbles.

I don't use solvent to thin my epoxy (30minute).
I mix the epoxy on a small piece of glass, than I hold it over a light bulb. The heat thins it nicelyand breaks up any bubbles in the mix. As it cools it stays put. It’s a great way to coat crease flies and poppers.

Heat from your light is to me the best and simple. You have the light and their is nothing to spill. With 30 min you can get about 12 heads done if you work quick with the cheep plastic brush (kids paint brush) and clean the brush with acitone or just toss. Also, if you find a coffee cup heater, put it on the lowest setting, place a tile on it and then put your Epoxy on it to warm it up. Dont put it on to long, if it is to hot you will melt the bottles.
Epoxy - what a simple thing - mix it and put it on you are done - but we worry about to many other things when we use it. Its just a glue.
