Nicaragua fishing?!?

I'm heading to nicaragua on sunday (flying into managua, driving down to san juan del sur) and was hoping to do some fly-fishing for a few days, although the trip is more sight-seeing, hiking, etc. i've read some reports, but would be interested on any input/suggestions from people who might have been down at this time of year (does time of year matter?) and can point me in the right direction.
