Good morning. I'm brand new to this board. I have a St. Croix 2 pc. - 9' - 10 wt (model LF9010 - Legend Series) that I purchased new at Ramsey Outdoor Store in Paramus, NJ perhaps 9 or 10 years ago. It has a System 2 1011 reel loaded with intermediate line. It is in immaculate condition.

I used the rod perhaps two dozen times - mostly along the Rhode Island Coast, but it saw some action at Montauk, Sandy Hook, Raritan Bay and along Cape Cod too.

In '03 I relocated from New York to Tennessee (landlocked) and now due to family health issues, I find myself having to sell some of my posessions.

Selling my flyrod is like giving away one of my pets. I hate to do it. I have no idea what a rod like this would garner on the open market. Any insight as to the value or interest in such a rod would be greatly appreciated.

If there is any newbie out there, I have a stripping basket, assorted saltwater flies, books, a video or three that might make breaking into the sport less painful than buying new. If anyone is interested, please send along a PM to me.

Thanks for your time. Tight lines to all!

You should check out the completed auctions on eBay to get an idea what it's worth. I'd say somewhere in the $100-$150 range.
