I'm looking for an "after market" add on fore-grip for my Sage RPLXi 12wt.
The rod is a factory built, single grip model. I'm wondering if there are any available and where I can get one.
Thanks!
Jeff
Call The Bears Den in Taunton Mass. They have a wide selection of rod building supplies and are very helpful.

FYI - I have Sage RPLXi 12 wt w/o foregrip - I was told that adding an after factory foregrip would void the warranty (so I didn't put one on). Good luck.

Ray,
I just got off the phone with Bears Den and Scott gave me s few good tips on what to do. Good call! He's a straight up fella!
Too bad they're in Taunton and I'm in Jersey. Koodos to Bears Den.

I bought EVA foam from the Mudhole rod building supply company and shaped it on a lathe then slid it over the butt of my TiCr 12 wt. Perfect fit and it works like a charm, and it can be removed and put on another rod no problem (I made sure it was a snug fit btw). TFO has told me that their warranty is fine even with the inclusion of a foregrip by the enterprising fly fisherman after the fact so I don't have any worries as far as the warranty goes.
