The trip is official and we will be staying right on ft myers beach. Estero bay is behind us and looks real fishy. We will be down there in the last week of may and will be booking a charter for tarpon and maybe an offshore trip too for shark or whatever else is big and strong out there at that time of year. We want to do a lot of night fishing too from shore. I hear it is popular to fish bridges at night. We will do whatever it takes to catch fish all week and try as many different types of fishing as possible. A few questions I have are as followed. Is there good fishing right off the beach at night for any species? (our house is directly on beach) Are there any sure shot species to get into from shore. Sharks? We will be renting a boat for a few days so is there anything outside commonsense that I need to know about mangrove fishing? Anything anyone can offer would be of great help as this is our first fishing trip in this area. Thanks in advance for any help.
