A bud just set up a three day charter for us in June with Capt Jim White to fly fish shallow water stripers. Have any of you done this? Any comments about that type of striper fishing? I have my spots that work, but like to try areas new to me.

First off, great fish from down in N.C. 40lbs on a fly is really amazing. Wish I was there! I have fished with Jim White in the past and am in the process of setting something up with him myself. Best if you give me a call on my cell at 617-285-4824 and I can fill you in with all the details. It's a really nice area to fish as I have spent many years up there exploring and fishing. Have a good friend who used to guide out of the Saltwater Edge in Newport and we would fish together whenever my travels took me up that way....
