I am trying to figure out where to spend a couple of weeks vacation in March/April to do some kayaking and fishing. The wife and I are thinking the south pacific somewhere just because. Some thoughts are Fiji or Palau. We are more into remote areas not so much the resort thing. We would even like to camp or kayak camp if that is possible but will stay at any kind of place. I hear some places like French Polynesia and Bora Bora are way $$$ . Any thoughts or experiences ect..? Of course I am looking for a place with good fishing. I will hire guide but also want a place I can fish from shore or kaya by myself. There are lots of little islands out there so it has been hard to figure out where to go.

Thanks,

Thomas

I spent 2 wks in french polyneisa fishing and it is crazy $$$$ but the fishing was cool around bora bora and on Rangiroa.Rangiroa was realy cool we stayed at the Kia ora Sauvage, this is a rustis island on the other side of the lagoon no electricity just 8 thatch huts with no people liveing on that side of the lagoon the fishing is very good and there is lots of room to walk and fish.
