Just returned from a week of bonefishing at the above location, we fished with independent guides Chris Leadon and Mark Bastian and stayed at the Seascape Inn. A cold front influenced the trip but we still managed to catch plenty of fish, our best day was about 25 fish, nothing huge though. The guides were of the opinion that the time of year has no influence on the size of fish but might influence which flats they might be on.The wind blew really hard some days but we were always able to find some flats with shelter, the trips across open water were not for the faint hearted or with spinal problems.
The independent guides are hungry for work and are willing to negotiate prices, this is the time to take advantage of the incredible fishing in this area.
