Beautiful flies! Thanks for sharing. You seem to have modified Skok's tying instructions a touch in that he has one color for the belly, one for the back, so the delimiter between colors is the lateral line. Did you use white for belly and back and then simply put a topping on for the back at the end?
I too have been playing w/ the Skok pattern. I purchased one of his at the Marlborough show and was impressed w/ the sparseness and suppleness. If I use kinky fiber and mega mushy flash I get a nice fly but much stiffer than his sample. If I use kinky fiber and angel hair, I get a nice fly - but more supple and a little more dense than his sample. It any event he used something that I can only "almost" match. Not that it makes a difference for fishing, but the pursuit is fun.
At the moment I am playing with the Gartside secret flies. Very cool and a lot of fun.
Thanks for sharing! Seeing other work is always helpful. Now to find my camera.... :-)

The line down the lateral is flashabou tied into the tail and showing through the body.
