Baja California: hints and recommendations?

I have together with some friends discussed a week or two fishing in Baja California. Should that become reality, it would be our first trip to that destination.

Time perspective: 2007

Any pointers to where start looking for reliable information would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have your specific answers. However, you should include whether you intend to fish from a boat or shore. That way, someone who knows that area can answer you more definitively.

Regarding the fishing we are aiming at:

We plan to spend half time fishing from the shore, and half time fishing "inshore" using local boats (panga I think they are called). We do not prioritize offshore.
