Actually, found it in Bob Veverka's book, "Innovative Saltwater Flies."
Hook: Mustad 79573, 3X long, 3X strong, #2/0 to 3/0, or equivalent.
Thread: White
Tip: Gold mylar piping wound like tinsel from the halfway point of the hook bend to the end of the shank.
Butt: Several turns of large white chenille in a ball - enough to make the hackles splay out.
Tail: As a wing, eight white saddle hackles about three inches long, splaying in all directions. Also, centered on each side, a white saddle hackle about five inches long, to simulate tentacles.
Topping/Throat: Fill the gaps between the eyes, both above and below, with hackle fluff or marabou tufts of the same color as the finish hackles.
Weight: Wrap lead wire around the hook shank (optional).
Body: Pad the body with cotton or floss, tapered from the eyes to the head. Wrap on a body of medium to large chenille, leaving about a 1/8" gap between the body and the hook eye.
Head: Acrylic fiber yarn comes in a three-wrap strand. Cut two strands 1.5" inches long and bind one strand on each side of the hook by its middle. Secure tightly. Taking one side at a time, pull strands out tightly at a 90 degree angle to the hook shank, binding them at the base of the fibers by figure-eights around both sides. A whip completes the tying on of materials.
Eyes: Solid plastic.
Variations: White, natural, and hot pink.
