Looks like they just stocked Lake Cochituate :) Does anybody know where I can drive up with a kayak and launch (with parking) in the Natick area? Is the area near the Cochituate Canoe and Kayak place public access?
Thanks!

Is it Clear of ice? I was planning on hitting the Mack in Bow but this changes everything.

I drove by Cochituate on the Pike this AM. There's still some ice floating around, but it also got very warm today so maybe a lot of it is gone. The entrance to Cochituate State Park off of Rte 30 in Wayland(?) is open year round, so you can put in there at the boat ramp. You may also be able to put in at the back of the pkg lot near the channel, but there was a lot of shore ice there this AM.

Hi guys, just took a ride by the boat ramp at Cochituate and it is still frozen. The Wayland side was open water and you can park and launch by the wall if the gate is open. That's the gate on the left past the boat ramp. It was closed when I went by about 3:15.

Hopkinton still has ice fisherman on it as of this afternoon. The area near the ramps is free of ice but the half near Route 85 is still frozen.
