Farmington River Hendricksons

Does anyone usually hit the Farmington for the Hendrickson hatch? Typically what would be a good week to go over there? I'm trying to plan some time off. Thanks!!

Usually Late April into May (depending on how quick we warm up). Definitely worth the trip. Try to go during the week to avoid the crowds. Hendrickson spinner falls are not as consistent in the evenings as they are on the the Housatonic. For the ultimate then, fish the Hendrickson hatch on the Farmington during the afternoon and then drive to the Housatonic (45 min) for the evening spinner fall. When you hit the right day it can be just like the story books.
