Here are pics of my Adventure. I took it out for the first time today. I'm going to bed, it's an excellent kayak but I do not have my sea legs yet. (Must work out...must get in shape)

Beverly launch -winter storms took it's toll on asphalt.

Advantage of having a car wash near the launch.

Hey Joe....so what's your take on the new yak? stability, speed, ease of use, weight loading & unloading, paddlability, tracking, min water use depth, seat comfort, storage..etc.

thanks

The more I use it, the more I love it. Went out today peddled against the the wind and was cruising. Peddled with the wind and I was flying. It's a real fast kayak to paddle too.

I find the kayak very stable, I find it not much different than my Tarpon 120, turns on a dime with larger keel. Tracking is great with keel. You can use the kayak in 1.5 feet of water, even then you can position the fins against the hull and use a paddle when you need to.

Weighs the same as my 12 foot tarpon, for shorts road trips I just load with the hull down, for longer trips I will flip it.

The seat takes some getting used to. I'm used to a stiff plastic tarpon seat.

Do you think you'll find yourself covering a lot more water with it?..thanks for the insight...I think this is going to be my next kayak. ...how is the water intake in regards to the scuppers....seem like a lot or very little compared to the tarpon
