Anyone fish purgatory brook years ago

I am wondering, b/c i was told by my dad that years ago purgatory brook, in sutton was stocked or at least had trout, and i've walked most of it and just am not sure about that. Any old timers fish it years ago, just curious?

I never heard about the fishable brook either...but I did remember seeing loads of brookies I think. Sure looked like them. If it's the same place I visited I remember my step father and I frothing at the mouth as we walked the trail looking into the water haha.

I must have picniced with my parents 50 times in Purgatory Chasm when I was a kid, and I don't ever remember seeing a stream there? :confused:

We used to head up there to relax in college. Never say a brook, but we used to hang out at a lake close by afterwards. Lake was pretty cool & clear, so I can believe it was a trout area.
