The old shallow ramp off Rte.28 on the E. side of Bass River is being rebuilt. The new ramp will be higher and longer with a decent ramp angle to launch and their will be a float at one side. No longer have to get your vehicles rear wheels into the salt to launch or haul.

Less than a mile to the sound from here, this ramp will become popular. This has been a free ramp for anyone to use. No word yet, but I assume the town will have a fee schedule once repairs are made. The S.Yarmouth ramp at rivermouth charges non-residents $8/launch.

Thanks for the update Bill... is this the one between the BR Bridge and Sundancers? I hope so, it's right around the corner... Putting in at Wilbur is a PITA...

That's the one. I was by there today and one of the guys working on it said it should be done by the end of the month.

My Grandfather used to lauch from that location when I was a lot younger. Also, Capt. Eric Stewart will use this location to meet you if you fish with him off this side of the Cape. Always worth the trip! Another ramp Sweet!

Oh, Don't forget the Sunset Booze Cruise on the Starfaih...hahhahaaa

Eric will have the Tammy Rose berthed at Skippy's Marina in Hyannis for 2006 and no need to meet in W.Dennis.

Skippy's Marina is in Parker River, I doubt he'll be able to stuff that Henriques up in there. I have trouble in my SeaCraft.

Also, the ramp at Smuggler's Beach is a state funded boat ramp. The fee is to park a vehicle and trailer only. You may drive in, launch and leave with you vehicle and trailer for free, but if you are going to park it, there is a fee, and that is for both residents and non-residents alike. There is a season pass available though, that's the way to go.

The rebuilt Bass River ramp is usable now. Parking lot paved but floats not in yet. Hopefully dredging will take place later in summer when the Codfish returns to Bass River after dredging in other Cape waters.
