1999 and 2000 Year class indexes

Anyone have a link or data on the striped bass young of the year indexes for 1999 and/or 2000?

here's a link, http://www.asmfc.org/ , which ought to help. The asmfc is the group which regulates stripers (and other fishes) on the east coast. Lot's of info and if you call them they will even talk to you!

You can find out when the ASMFC is holding pubic comment meetings in your state on Amendment #6 of the Striped Bass Management Plan at the following address:

I'm sure they will discuss young-of-year indexes.

I think that the young of the year index in Maryland was slightly above the long term average of 8 for 1999. The 2000 index will not be known until Sept.2000.The catching the young of the year necessary for this index probably has not started yet.
