We put the boat in at Bourne and ran into BM Bay at about 1730 today. We hit the Narrows in the back of the bay and then went up into Little Buttermilk Bay. We got a few fish in the 10" to 20" range but things were slow. John had a few fish in the Bay last night in a different spot so we gave that a try. We picked up 2 more about the same size. We went back to the Narrows about 1900 and bumped into Larry Backman in his kayack (sp?) He advised he was having no luck either. While we talked both of us missed a few short strikes. It's tough to hook those 8" bass :) We decided to run out to Mashnee and see if fish might be working herring on the west running tide. The water was 57 but their was no sign of fish or bait out there. And so ends another cold nearly fishless day.
