Christmas Island Trevally

Is the Trevally fishing as good as they say? I'm contemplating a trip this winter to the Island. I'm not interested in spending that kind of money just for bones though. Who has experience on this trip?

I've been to Xmas twice and spent a a lot of my time on the first trip looking for GT's and was disappointed. The bonefishing was very good. I have not been since 2003. PM me if you like.
