Upper Cape Pond Rpt. 6/4/06

Tested the cold, windy, overcast June trout fishing theory today and was rewarded with one of my best days on the water in over a year...I took 11 rainbows in 5-6 hours midday. But that's not all...I hammered a 21 inch 3lb Brown and also took a 3lb smallie. I can't report water temps but I will tell you one little secret. The very simple, dark brown micro bead head bugger took every fish. :cool:

I'm just curious, are you wading or in a boat?
Either way, great day. If the inshore bass fishing continues along these lines, I may take up trout fishing in the next couple years for what would be the third time in my life. (#$119)

Today I was sitting in a float tube with my waders and fins. Sometimes I wade but the ponds are so high right now it's tough...Actually I had to get out of the tube and wade to land that Brownie this afternoon!
