Was out today off the south side of the cape surrounded by Striped Bass charter boats. Everyone including myself seemed to be using white parchute jigs. The only problem is, everybody was cathing fish and I was cathing nothing but seaweed and mung. I was in the same spot last weekened with the same rig (100 yds of 50lb Wire with a Flourocarbon leader and a White Jig). Last weekend I was fishing the bottom and catching fish on every pass (or at least every other). This weekend, nothing. Does anyone know the secret for catching fish with jigs when there is lots of seaweed on the bottom and in the water? The charter guys sure have it figured out. Perhaps they are not fishing on the bottom or not using wire?

Please help!! I can't take another trip of watching everyone else pull them over the side...except me and my guest......

Depending on your experience level this may sound obvious, but did you check the floro leader for any frays/nicks?
