Custom Leaning Post

Just purchased a MAKO Inshore 1901. It arrived with a 45" leaning post which is WAY too wide for the boat. Mako doesn't offer a smaller leaning post which mean I have to go custom. Can anyone recommend a marine fabricator in the NewEngland area?

I've been talking with an outfit called Hot Tops in Fort Meyers, FL but shipping cost is around $200 and I'd like to avoid the excessive shipping if at all possible.
