You should have been with me last year off off Monmouth Beach. NewJersey. A big ass charter boat went between my boat and the beach(and there wasn't all that much room), blowing right through the school of fish I was fly casting to. When he stopped his boat finally, I motored up till I was 10' from his transom and engaged him. They call me a weekender and give me s*** all the time, so one would think a professional would know better. Later that same day he was casting poppers from behind my boat, over my bow, to the school of fish beyond. I finally had enough, did donuts through the school, and motored home. This was not the first time this has happened. Once a well know fly captain had his boat so close to mine during albie season that one of his clients backcasts went right across my bow! When I asked him what the f*** he was doing, he stated that he didn't see me!!! I have hated this guy ever since!! Never a dull moment in Jersey. Maybe this is why I haven't been out in the boat once this year yet...
