Went out for first time May 6th picked up a couple schoolies in buttermilk bay. Didn't fish again until Friday night late May 12th. Went to estuary hot spot in Falmouth and ran into a few small fish. Later took a ride to canal by the maritime and nothing was going on. At first light still nothing but it was high slack. Took a ride over to buttermilk, didn't see anything.
my conclusion after two trips in early May is that the fish are here in small numbers. very spotty, you must be in the right place at the right time.
