Can anybody recommend a reputable travel insurance company? I'm about ready to book a trip to Small Hope lodge on Andros for 5/07, and with the threat of hurricanes, etc I think trip insurance would be a good idea. In our past trips to USVI we always just bought the ticket protector sold when you get your airline tickets but I think a little more protection is in order. I've heard horror stories of folks having to be evacuated from remote places for medical reasons, or even having to cancel their trip on short notice, and would want to cover that sort of thing.
Any advice appreciated.

I buy ins. from "Travel Guard" It costs about $150.00 for a $3000.00 trip. They sell a "sportsmans" policy that has a higher allowance for lost luggage-when I think of the replacement cost of whats in my fishpond rolling duffel,I cosider the insurance upgrade a bargain. I have never had to file a claim, but this is the insurance that most of the destination booking outfitters use. Google 'em up. Hope this helps,Mick
