Kent a great place to fresh water fish is Sheeps pond at the end of Fishermans landing rd. off of RTE.124 near Harwich line. the pond has trout and salmon I saw a guy catch one this spring and it was as big as a keeper bass! If you are Salt water fishing for stripers go to Paines Creek beach and fish off of the left side of the beach, this is the mouth of the herring run and with some herring and a high tide you can have really good luck. Paines Creek rd. is off of the north side of 6A on the western half of town. Hope this helps JG.

If you want saltwater fishing, try the flats, which is teh sandy area that is exposed at low tide. (It can be accessed from Robbins Hill Rd, Saints Landing Beach). If you walk out at low tide about 3/4 mile you will hit the deep water, called the channel. This area is very good for stipers, but may not be productive this early in the year.

Remember to be very careful because if you read the tides wrong you will have to walk / swim back to shore. Don't walk out if the tide is coming in, I would recommend walking out with a falling tide - get a tide chart too.
