I fished the upper Seekonk River with an olive-colored swimming plug a couple days ago and caught some micros (12”) and schoolies (20 - 24”). The herring run up to the Slater Mill dam in Pawtucket and there was pretty good action just below the dam. There reportedly are keeper stripers in the river being caught but I can’t confirm that. This is not exactly a bucolic, pastoral area conducive to flyfishing but at least south of the dam it’s not a complete urban hellhole, either, and it’s easy access from I-95
