Two weeks ago, my favorite striper flat more resembled a morgue than a place to put a bend in the rod. Arrived last night to finally find spearing - not a lot but in tight to the spartina and some very mature ones (5") :brow . It didn't take long to find the bass - took 5 from 20" - 26" in an hour and then a thunderstorm ushered me off the flat before I had a chance to really check in on some of the deeper holes. Also, Ponquogue Bridge area is loaded with rainbait - small blues are on them hard at night but I managed one keeper this week getting underneath them with a burly deceiver. Good luck to all...
