Macks off Marblehead

Change of pace Saturday. Fished jigs East of Halfway Rock. Picked up 10 Macks near the surface. Tried for cod, although we marked more than a few, we were skunked. Nothin off Tinkers either. Plugged around the small islands off Marblehead briefly, no action. The Macks tasted good. Next weekend, stripers and bluefish off Falmouth/Cotuit on the fly.

<P>Plenty of them at Salem Willows too, from the pier. They all appear to be pretty big - good fun on light tackle.</P>
