Sat's Toona Sightings

The 180 line off Glostah was deader than Curt Cobain. Passed the comm fleet on-the-ball and ran out further .. where the water warmed and sporadic splashes of larger toona were sighted. We pounded that area with sp-bars to no avail.

We ran out to the bank for the tide change and it was dead too. On the ay back in ... more sporadic large splashes ... but could never get close to them, and they weren't up but for 5-10 seconds at a time.

But ...they're back :) !

While ground fishing on the Lethal Weapon Saturday we put a 52lb 44" fish in the boat. I cried as I held the wasabi in hand and watched him disappear after being released ;) Sunday I brought my tuna spin stick and of course they weren't around. Day of rest today but will be chasing them on Tuesday and Wednesday. Good Luck Dale.
