The Orvis T3 repair expereince was excellent, just as other RT veterans wrote. I was concerned when I put rod together to find a 1/2 separation between the alignment dots (I don't use this rod, so it may have always been this way)...but Orvis says they are built that way to wear in, not wear out. However, all discussions from Orvis were prompt and polite and they presented as if they really cared about the customer.
On another note...I need a cheapy/drop overboard spin set-up for schoolies. My Penn stuff is simply too heavy for the twinks in our bay. Yes, I know you get what you pay for, but I just want a knock-around rod.
Any advice?
