I'm disgusted and I can't take it anymore

Before I start let me say up front, this post might anger some people and it might even get me banned from this board, but I feel a need to voice an opinion. Since I have been on this site I have seen several important discussions started on the conservation forum. These discussions covered a variety of topics from regulations to species conservation. The problem is that without fail someone makes posts insulting someones beliefs, belittling attempts at important measures, even intentionally misspelling the person's name or title. I can only believe that this is an attempt to kill discussion (the moderators have been forced to lock several posts). In conclusion I apologize if this angers anyone, but I would like to see polite intelligent discussions on this forum.

Judging by the way the thread on the Striper forever survey thread has started, I have unfortunately come to the conclusion that an intelligent civil discussion on this board is impossible for some people to permit. And that is truly sad
