Wollaston Beach/Quincy 5/15 (really this time)

Fished Wollaston Beach last night from 5:30-8 about 1/3 into the incomming.caught a lone 22" fish that was constantly crashing whatever bait was being washed out of the creek. Put up a real nice fight. Tried fishing the estuary/creek side of the road but saw and heard nothing. Has anyone caught anything fishing the rip that sets up durring the incomming on the creek side of the bridge? For us city dwellers, Wollaston Beach is a great place to catch a few fish right after work.

last fall i had pretty good luck on that side of the
bridge. i tried fishing on that side one day after seeing
a pretty good blitz happen there. the fish were there on
a nightly basis for a few weeks. they were feeding on
small pogies at the time and were finicky. i also fish the
beachfront a couple of hours before low tide wading out as
far as i can. you sure can walk out far. lately i have been
fishing the local rivers with much success. neponset has been great and only ten minutes from my house. good luck.
