yesterday afternoon. Spoke to a friend and he told me that they hammered a bunch of fish up to 27 inches. Most of fish on white bucktail jigs and chartreuse clousers.

Anybody else fish the backside of the Maritime into the bay? There is a nice channel that runs into the a bay. If there is decent current you can basically guarantee schoolie size fish out of there.

Can't wait to get down there!

Were they fishing from a boat just outside of the Canal or from shore in the Canal? I'll be near there tomorrow. Have met with little success this year plugging or jigging the area right in front of the parking lot, although it has been good early on in other years.

They were on the backside where the channel is located before the water flows under the bridge to Buttermilk. No boat, this time of year that area is great to wade since there is limited boat traffic to spook fish.

I was on the frontside of the Maritime by the cement block and didn't seen anything roll through last friday night and Saturday Morning.
