Well,
The forecasted Blowout was officially overstated for the weekend. That being said, if you had the stones to go out East, you hit some good numbers of Tuna. If you went into the Bay & Beyond, you were teased with momentrary limited success and definitive on ON/OFF switch manually operated By the Tuna Gods!
I chose the later and lived with my magnanimous fish count of 1. The radio told the story...."We got our one....we're out of here!" That was the two day sentiment as many seemed to have on the back of their minds a forcasted 20+mph afternoon blowup out of the East.
It looks like the next few days are going to Blow as well. I'll be OTW Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sat, Sun..... I will most likely go East, not as far Offshore and also hit a few afternoons in the Bay on Solo Hunt missions.
I have some good intel from Tim11 that the Canal has walk-on schools of peanut bunker getting crushed by Stripers and Blues. If that empties into the Bay, plus the reported PB offshore getting hit with East & North Winds for a week.....some good..no some great might come of this crap weather! (#$119)
Thanks!
