I broke the tip on my Xi2 this past weekend. When I took it to the fly shop to have them send it back to Sage, they said it would take 4-6 weeks to repair. For those of you who have had to use Sage's warranty, does it usually take this long? Or does Sage usually have it done sooner?

Thanks

I have had my RPLX fixed 3 times over 12 years. Probably averaged 10-12 days .... my ship out to having back in hand. Pretty darn good! :)

Tightline,
Call sage yourself and tell what happened and that you will be sending the rod back for repair. You will have your rod back in a 7-10 days. Handle the entire process yourself, in this case much faster. Sage is flat out the best when dealing with warranty issues.

My experience is that it depends on how busy they are. My average would be about 4 weeks door to door. Not the fastest but they do a good job.

Well, I left the rod with my fly shop on Monday, so it was sent to Sage the next day. I called Sage yesterday, and they said they've got about a 2 week turn around time right now. Not too shabby.
