started at south cape last friday morn. hiked out to the jetty and took six fish max 24" casting over the low point
of the jetty and letting the fly drift over the rocks into
the channel. the only thing that worked for me. a few guys
in boats were getting blues. drove to lieutenant island, nada. drove to head of the meadow to try a few of the holes
off of the bars, nothing. drove to herring river in wellfleet and they were there at low tide chasing herring
right up the dam. took about 8 fish on a large herring fly max 28". one fish was covered completely with white crusty growth. seemed healthy though. is that sea lice?? there were definetly some lunkers by the dam.
had a difficult time getting back on the board, which explains the late post.
