Has anyone ff'shd the narrows, is it a good spot? Where else in east bay can I wet a line after/before work i.e. in/out not alot of drive time.... already familiar with the Coles and Palmer... looking for new spots, not looking to crowd anyone or step on any toes.
I've had better luck fishing the last 1/2 hr of the outgoing and the first 2 hrs of the incoming at the Narrows from the green can back to the red one on the Touisset side. You can drive out on the bar but just watch the tide. rel

The Bristol Narrows is a great place to fish also,I like to fish Colt's Drive. In front of the bridge and north along the shoreline. In the southeast part of the park there is a parking lot, I park there and walk the path into the to the shoreline. All along there is good fishing. The bridges in Barrington is also good.Where do you fish the Coles and Palmer Rivers? I've wanted to fish there but don't really know my way around there.

Go with the premise where there is water there is fish. The bridges in Barrington was mentioned and I agree, but also try Barrington Beach, 100 Acre Cove off 114 in Barrington, explore some of the spots off the east Bay Bike path, you'ld be surprised. There is a boat ramp just below the George Washington Bridge between Providence & East Providence on the EP side. It's not atractive but you can fish there. It's the Seekonk River. You might also try some of the local spots in Riverside, R.I. It's part of EP. Laven's Marina is a good spot too.
