Hit the bank by 7am. Fish to the boat by 7:30. Good numbers around today. There was a lull midday but early and late produced. Fish are also moving in closer to shore.

I want mine on top! I got spoiled the other day with great topwater action and aggressive fish. I went to the NW corner today and couldn't bring myself to troll with my limited window. I surveyed and left to return to Marblehead via the dumping grounds and did find surfacing fish. Small(20 pounders) and very spooky and didn't want to stay up.

Encouraging to see 'em off the bank. Let's hope the bigger guys follow suit.

You forgot to mention his technique is all wrong. You have to make it so no fingers are showing for scale.

That fish was about 50lbs. We landed (didnt take him out of the water) around 80lbs today....

And, yes, JJ, I still love you. --123-3

Congrats....if you don't mind me asking how far out did you go. I fish out of Boston as well and have been running out to the bank. If I could find them in closer that would be great...

The inshore activity was very sporadic but you dont have to go farto find them--north, south, or east...

Dryfly,

At times, yes, they were catchable on the fly. We were able to get a few good shots but no takers on the fly. We found good feeds until about the time the tide died at 9am. After that only one more good chance before the fish spread out and didnt stay up long...
