the guys at Feathercraft recommended the Fishpond. Ihave taken it on two trips, and it is bulletproof-with many zippered compartments. My only complaint is that it weighes about 15 lbs, empty. I really like the design of the drop bottom,it holds all my fishing stuff easily. Six rods in the Winston rod tube, four reels ,spare spools, wading boots, the bare minimum of flies (no more than about 800) and my tools. On my last trip to Pesca Maya,I took 18 extra tee shirts and a dozen ball caps for the guides. It also carried a large bag of tying stuff for the guides. Is a WELL THOUGHT OUT BAG,BUT HEAVY.

You might want to take a look at the Simms bags as well. I have had mine for two seasons now and it is a great bag. If I could do it over, I would probably not get the hard-bottomed bag I have now only because the others are more expandable.
