What UP ?

Long morning few fish. Left the dock just about 6:30 AM (Friday) ran all over looking for Bass found none. Hit The Islands, West Bank, Bug Light, Ammo Pier, Sandy Hook ,The Conery Island Flats & Breeze Point could only find small Blues
Around the AMMO PIER the fleet of 50 boats+ was not catching. Recorder showed lots of marks. Huge schools of What? Weak's, Bunker, Sea robins or Bass w/ lockjaw? Could not get a touch !
Spoke w/ one guy trolling Breeze Point had a 2 Bass to 30 " but say its been pretty slow. Found birds & small blues on top in & around Staten Island but could not find a single Bass :mad:
Conditions Water in Raritan Bay & around Staten Island Mud Brown, 67-68 deg. Breeze Point 65 degrees & clear Sea conditions calm.

there are baits, of all kinds, in huge numbers everywhere in that neck of the woods.

In my hunt for bass on Friday I did not see any bait fish in/or around Staten Island or Breeze Point.
Althought there were huge marks on recorder which must have been some kind of Bait.
There been a some bass taken on clams need the Vezzono Bridge around Bouy #21 & a few trolled up around Breeze Point but bass fishing in general been slow
There been tons of short Seabass being caught in GravesEnd Bay 40 -50 fish w/ 0nly 2-3( bearly) keepers in the mix.
