Bumpy Ride

7:30 Am Wind did not seem to bad in the marine so against my better judgement decide to poke my nose outside. Got off Coney Island flats sea was roaring w/ solid 3 fts & some bigger closely packed for a bone jarring ride. :eek: Got off the beach a bit found loads of birds tried a few cast but birds & fished moved to fast to follow.
Retreated back in the bay & pick a few blues around VB Bridge stantions before calling it quits 10 am.

In spite of the forecast we went anyway. Jones inlet was an absolute mess but there were birds all over the white water. Tried again in the pm but same drill. Birds everywhere but we couldn't get near them.
