It started chasing breaking Tuna on the North shore, and finshed to finicky rising Browns on the Ausable. With a bit of the local striper fishing in between. The highlight of the month(13 days) took place a few thousand mile away in the Pacific North West chasing some of the last few native runs of steelhead. Couldn't think of a better place to unleash my newly accuried spey casting skills, THANK YOU JURO. Long hikes, wind knots, unplanned dips in the river, and the invetible confidence breakdowns where just some of challenges I faced on the river. I continued on very well knowing the prized fish that I was after had traveled thousands of miles and had to overcome the many obstacles that man has placed in their path home... Following are few pics from trip. Please help me bring back September....
