Yeah, it's a new branch of kayak fishing for people who got tired of catching smaller sharks. You put a piece of aircraft cable on the back with a large-ish treble hook and troll. When you get a bite, you paddle like hell until the shark is tired out. Then, lipping him, release him to catch another day. It works best with brightly colored yaks - like the one shown in "Yum-Yum Yellow".
It's addicting really - long periods of absolute boredom followed by periods of absolute heart stopping action. Try it - you'll like it, I'm sure.
